Dentours offers two packages – the Deluxe and the Standard. We will choose from among our personally-picked hotels in Querétaro to ensure your comfort. Clients on our Deluxe tours will stay at the Casa de la Marquesa or the Gran Hotel. La Casa de La Marquesa is a historical jewel of the baroque now turned into an exclusive luxury hotel with 25 suites, specially decorated with antiques from all over the world, creating an atmosphere of distinction and relaxation with all its exquisite details. The hotel comprises two old downtown houses divided by a narrow street, the Casa Marquesa and the Casa Real. Casa Marquesa is a baroque-style house from the year 1756 and has three levels and a central courtyard. Casa Real was built in the early days of 1900 in colonial style, it has two levels and a central courtyard as well. The hotel offers a choice of dining experiences: The Marchioness Dining Room - This is the hotel’s main restaurant, decorated in colonial style. International cuisine and the most select Mexican dishes are served here. The Chapel - An intimate place in which to enjoy the gourmet menu. Royal Cafeteria de La Casa Real - Lunch and dinner are also served in the colonial courtyard of La Casa Real, with a traditional Mexican menu. Don Porfirio Bar - A warm and pleasant atmosphere, premium wines and the most exquisite appetizers.
The Gran Hotel Queretaro building was built in the 19th century on land that used to be part of the Convento Grande de San Francisco and forms one side of the Plaza de la Constitución at the heart of the historic center. The hotel opened in 2006 for visitors who enjoy staying in luxurious and ample guestrooms featuring state-of-the-art technology and providing the utmost comfort to its guests. All of the rooms have been elegantly decorated with contemporary art and equipped with all the amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. Downstairs at Plaza level are the hotel’s restaurant, serving elegant cuisine and local favorites, and Harry’s Bar, a popular bar and restaurant, where you can get great food and snacks, some with a Cajun influence.
Clients on our Standard tours will stay at one of the following hotels: The Hotel Meson del Obispado is situated on one of the liveliest pedestrian streets in the historic center, between the Plaza Corregidora and the Plaza de Armas, perfect as a base for exploring the narrow streets and sidewalk restaurants nearby. The comfortable rooms are airy and high-ceilinged and the hotel has a restaurant in its central courtyard that serves all meals and a great Sunday brunch off the open grill. The Hotel Amberes is situated opposite the Alameda Hidalgo, the large park in the city center. It caters mostly to the business traveler, so has all the amenities and comforts, including air conditioning, and some rooms with a park view. The Hotel Plaza is on the Jardín Zenea, the lively, flower-filled, tree-lined plaza in the center of the city. Some of the rooms look out on the Jardín, which is always full of people strolling, getting a shoeshine, listening to music at the bandstand or watching dance demonstrations. It’s the busy heart of the colonial town.
